New to the blogging world

This is a new project for me. I never think I have very much to say that others would like to read but I do like the idea of having a PLACE of my own to jot down my thoughts. I find as I get older that women especially become invisible to others we sort of blend in unless we do something funky with fashion or are very tall and sleek, or have wild hair. Therefore, I have decided to stand out with my crafts, specifically Bunka, which is Japanese punch embroidery and very fine work, one of my finest achievements has been a project called Geisha and Me, which is now in a private collection in Mississauga. In addition, The Barbados Market which is currently hanging in the home of my daughter in British Columbia. I also am a serious amateur photographer, and enjoy the "art" of photography as a newly acquired hobby. I lean to the more artsy fartsy creative aspect of photography rather than the technical aspects.I am also a Reiki Master/Instructor, I started taking Reiki for my own health benefits, and general interests, and have found myself treating family and friends, I also take personal healing requests for distant healing, drop me a line and let me know of your request if you are in need.
